The Oberon Neighbourhood Centre provides local residents with a single point of access to information on, and referral to, a range of government and non-government welfare services. The Centre is funded by the NSW Department of Community Services to ensure these resources and services are available to all members of the community .
Services include but are not limited to:-
- Unemployment
- Domestic violence
- Mental health
- Disability
- Respite
- Residential care
- Migrant and refugee support
- Volunteering
- Training and placement
- Assistance with Medicare and Centrelink
- Homelessness (Wattle Tree House visits every Thursday 10.00 – 11.30)
