Oberon’s lockdown has been extended for another week, along with the whole state of NSW. Residents are urged to stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary to go out. Exercising in groups of no greater than two people is allowed. So, walking, cycling, running and other aerobic exercises are permissible. Shopping is also allowed but only by one of the people in your household. Golfing is allowed, but only two people can play together while maintaining social distancing. Sharing of carts is not allowed. With this mind, ten ladies enjoyed the lovely sunny weather on Wednesday, playing a Stableford round. Saturday golf will also be on while observing all the rules.

Oberon people have been very cooperative with the CV-19 regulations. QR code tracing is being used and mask wearing has been positively embraced. Locals’ efforts have surely helped to keep coronavirus out of our local government area. Well done, everyone!
