09.00am: MEET at Oberon Visitor Information Centre, 48 Ross Street, Oberon for your briefing
Explore picturesque 4WD trails of the Kanangra Boyd Plateau, tackling steep terrain and challenging creek crossings, as we work our way down to the valley floor to enjoy a superb campfire lunch by the Kowmung River.
Tackle rugged trails, stopping at waterfalls, lookouts and places of cultural significance to the local Wiradjuri mob.
Our trail eventually leads us on to Mt Werong and the historic Colong Stock Route to the historic silver mining township of Yerranderie. Campground has hot showers and toilet facilities.
Sit back and relax by the campfire whilst our evening meal sizzles away in the camp ovens.
