MAYFIELD is open and welcomes its visitors this Spring!
The 50 hectares Hawkins Family Private Garden extends beyond Mayfield Garden and is breathtaking in its design and expanse.

While the 15 hectare Mayfield Garden is open 363 days of the year (closed 25 & 26 December), the Hawkins family opens its private garden to visitors during seasonal festival periods.
THE 2023 SPRING FESTIVAL
Mayfield is introducing a music component to its Spring Festival this year.
The Labour Day Long Weekend will be dedicated to a diverse range of musical performers and entertainers. Regular Festival admission prices apply.
Day 1: Saturday 30 September
11.00am: The Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe and Drum Band will play the classical pipe band repertoire plus covers of rock songs and other popular pieces.
2.00pm: Opera by Design is a classical and opera crossover performance, from Bocelli to Brightman and more.
Day 2: Sunday 1 October
11.30am: The Gregg Arthur Three-piece covers songs by the greatest crooner of all, Tony Bennett.
1.30pm: The Bathtub Gin Orchestra delivers a captivating blend of 1920s stomp, early 1930s swing and a hint of gypsy jazz.
Day 3: Monday 2 October
11.30: Magician, Jackson Aces will bring the house down with his spectacular magic illusions.
Spend the day watching some amazing entertainers and exploring one of Australia’s most beautiful spring gardens, all for the price of a regular Festival ticket.
Mayfield Garden Restaurant is open from 9.00am, serving our fresh, seasonal menu until 3,.00pm and snacks through to 4:30pm. We definitely recommend booking a table in advance if you would like to join us for lunch. There are other food outlets available both inside and outside the garden, including our popular Maze Cafe.

We recommend arriving when we open at 9am and give yourself a minimum of 4 hours during to see the full garden. Last garden entry is 3pm. The garden closes at 4:30pm.
WHAT TO BRING
We recommend wearing closed walking shoes and dressing for the weather which might mean bringing a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and an umbrella. Being located in the tablelands a sweater or jacket is recommended year-round.
