High Country Trail Rides and Farmstay

High Country offers horse trail rides and property tours for families, couples and small groups. We have two self contained cottages on the farm to stay. Our family of farm animals are lots of fun to visit, there are over 60 animals on the farm. We also have night safaris in our polaris ranger to get up close with tbe local wildlife. So come and visit us for a day or a weekend or longer.

High Country Trail Rides is located around 12 kms from Oberon, around 3 hours from Sydney or Canberra and around one hour and 10 mins drive from Katoomba. We do not have regular public transport to Oberon, so you will need to travel by car. Oberon has two supermarkets, an RSL club, two hotels and various cafes and shops, swimming pool, tennis courts and a golf course.

Oberon is the highest town in the Blue mountains, making it the perfect place to visit during winter to see possible snow or in summer as it is cooler than the city.
